The Romeldale CMV is a rare breed of sheep. The CMV stands for California Varigated Mutation. The color of wool from this breed is medium and light gray. When combined for hand spinning, it gives a lovely tweed effect. This yarn was spun using the woolen method, resulting in a lofty, elastic yarn and still contains some of the natural lanolin.
